Programmes: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterEffects

For my motion design class, I created a 1.5-minute narrator video titled Why Jellyfish Glow. The goal was to make a short, lighthearted, and educational video, inspired by the style of Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell. I used vector-based design in Illustrator for the visuals and then brought them to life with animation in After Effects. The video aimed to simplify the fascinating science behind bioluminescence in jellyfish, all while keeping it engaging and visually appealing.
