For my photography class, I created a photozine exploring the theme of identity, specifically focusing on whether modern buildings possess an identity of their own. I narrowed down the topic to examine buildings in Berlin, with a particular focus on designs by the architectural firm Graft. Through various angles and perspectives, I highlighted the structures and patterns that define these buildings. To enhance the dramatic effect, I chose to work in black and white photography, allowing the architectural forms to take centre stage and emphasizing the contrast between the buildings’ identities and their environments.
